CaaR User Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction & Definitions

Welcome to CaaR.shop. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the platform as a Buyer or Private Seller.

  • "User" refers to any registered Buyer or Private Seller.
  • "Listing" means a vehicle posted for sale on the Platform.
  • "Transaction" means the purchase or sale of a vehicle via the Platform.

2. Account Registration

Users must be 18 years or older, provide accurate personal information, and maintain account security.

3. Using the Platform

Buyers may browse, make offers, and purchase via Buy Now. Private Sellers may create Listings for vehicles they own.

4. Fees & Payments

Buyers pay the listed Gross Sale Price plus applicable taxes and shipping/delivery fees. Private Sellers pay a listing fee of JMD X per Listing.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users shall not engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or infringe third-party rights. Violation may lead to suspension.

6. Privacy & Data

Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By accepting, you consent to data processing per that policy.

7. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be handled via mediation under Jamaican Arbitration Act, then arbitration in Kingston if unresolved.

8. Limitation of Liability

CaaR’s liability is limited to direct damages not exceeding the total transaction amount for the last 12 months.

9. Termination

CaaR may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or non-payment.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and any legal action shall be brought in Jamaican courts.
